Competitive card usage

Explore which cards appear in recorded Japanese tournament deck lists. Inclusion rate measures the share of unique decks using a card; average copies measures only decks where that card appears. Printings with the exact same Japanese card name are combined within the same deck section; regular and evolved cards remain separate.

Understanding the stats

Presence %: The share of eligible imported deck lists that include this card. 80% means 4 out of every 5 eligible decks run it.
Top-cut performance (x): The card's Top 8 rate divided by the overall Top 8 rate for the same eligible pool. 1.00x is average; above 1.00x is stronger than average.
Avg. copies (xN): The average number of copies in decks that include the card. Decks that do not run it are not included in this average.

Card categories

Core: Present in over 60% of eligible decks.
Flex: A regular inclusion that is not universal and does not show a strong negative performance signal.
Fringe: Low presence and no above-average Top 8 signal.
Gems: Low presence, but above-average Top 8 performance.
Traps: At least 30% presence, but below-average Top 8 performance.
