How the Codex data is built

The public database focuses on the Japanese Shadowverse: Evolve competitive environment. English-language releases and results are outside the current scope. Tournament pages may contain series events entered by the site administrator and weekly events imported from Bushi Navi.

Tournament names, dates, standings, and participant details come from public event records. Deck lists are linked to Bushiroad Deck Log when a usable source URL is available. The Codex normalizes these records into a consistent structure but does not claim ownership of the original event or card-game material.

A tournament is associated with the newest Japanese set released on or before the event date, unless an administrator corrects the assignment. This keeps set filters aligned with the legal card environment rather than the date a record was imported.

Craft data is taken from the deck record. Archetypes are reviewed from the source deck list and assigned to a controlled list of names. A deck marked Unknown has not yet been classified; it is not silently folded into another archetype. Community suggestions enter a moderation queue and do not change public data until approved.

Percentages describe the submitted or published tournament finishes present in this database. They are representation metrics, not match win rates. A popular archetype can appear frequently without having the highest win rate, and events with missing deck lists can affect the apparent distribution.

Imported events can initially appear without results when an organizer has not published them. Later synchronization checks can fill those records. Missing classifications and source errors are reviewed through the deck-feedback workflow. Corrections may update set, deck, meta, and tournament views together.
